The Federated Church of Hyannis is an independent, interdenominational mainline church that came into being in 1917 as a result of the merger of pre-existing Congregational and Universalist congregations. All of its senior ministers have, however, come out of the Congregational and, later, the United Church of Christ traditions.
This active and community-based church family of some 600 members offers its members and friends a full range of activities, programs, and worship. Its staff offers skilled support to its many organizations, committees and volunteers all of whom make regular use of the church's large and well-maintained facilities.
